One of the individuals I truly consider a real teacher in my medical journey is Dr. Mohammed Elagouri. I studied physiology with him, then pathology, and finally internal medicine during my fourth year of medical school. Each subject was a unique experience, but the ones closest to my heart and understanding were pathology and internal medicine.
His teaching style is scientific, well-structured, and deeply rooted in understanding. He starts with a question and then connects the different components in a logical, cohesive way that makes the full picture clear and easy to grasp.
His academic content is always rich, comprehensive, and easy to review. It remained a reference for me even after graduation, both while preparing for the OSCE exam and during clinical practice.
His teaching was so complete and clear that I didn’t even need to review past exam questions—I would go into the exam with just Dr. Mohammed’s notebook, fully relying on his explanations and clarifications.
From him, I learned how to take a detailed medical history and how to think methodically and analytically to reach an accurate diagnosis. He left a clear mark on the way I understand medicine and how I built my clinical foundation.
Wishing him all the best in the “Al-Farouq” project. I am confident that this platform will be a true extension of his academic contributions and a distinguished educational resource that will serve medical students and doctors both in Libya and beyond.

Doctor at Al-Kuifiya Hospital for Chest Diseases
I personally enrolled in an internal medicine course in 2010 when I was in my fifth year, and the subject was a significant obstacle for me. However, thanks to God and the remarkable teaching style and creativity of Dr. Mohammed Elagouri, internal medicine became my favorite subject, and I specialized in it. Even after graduating, I continued watching his lectures at times and listening to them at others. He played a major role, after God Almighty, in my journey as a doctor. Even after he moved to America, I stayed in touch with him, and he was always available with an open heart.
All my gratitude, appreciation, and respect go to you,
and may God reward you abundantly for us.

I was one of the people who’ve been blessed with knowing you while I was preparing for my Internal Medicine Exam in 2020.
I’ve written every single word you said and have filled hundreds of pages that I’m still keeping and revising till now.
You’ve been the only person whose teaching method was a perfect match for the way my brain works.
I’ve finished your internal medicine course and ER mind.
It helped me recognize and diagnose diseases that I’ve seen for the first time in my life.
I’m grateful forever.
Thank you

pediatrician and a Pediatric intensivist at Children’s Teaching Hospital-Tripoli
I studied the early years of medicine in Libya, then traveled to Ukraine and heard about Dr. Mohammed Elagouri. I greatly benefited from his intensive course in 2019. Since then, I started watching his YouTube channel and gained a lot from several courses, including videos on mechanical ventilation.

Dr. Mohammed Elagouri is the eldest brother, an excellent teacher, and a role model we look up to. I was honored to learn from him and benefit from the knowledge Allah has granted him. I was also honored to accompany him and learn from his character and way of thinking—something that deeply influenced both my personal life and how I deal with patients as a doctor.
Honestly, he was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had in terms of explaining concepts, delivering information, and organizing the material in a way that made it easy to understand, remember, and apply later in practice.
Thank you, Doctor, for everything you’ve done. I ask Allah to reward you for every doctor you’ve taught, every patient who recovered through your care, and every family that found joy in the healing of their loved ones.
Many thanks to you, Dr. Mohammed.

All credit goes to you, after God,
firstly for my success with distinction in internal medicine in my fifth year,
and after graduation, for my love for the specialty of internal medicine.
I’ve watched all your videos.
The *ER Mind* course was my first in the specialty,
then I took the MRCP course,
which, after God, was instrumental in my success in the fellowship.
All this benefit came from behind a phone screen.
The greatest benefit of all—may God reward you with the best reward.
