This course forms a cornerstone of Dr. Labedi’s initiative to establish an Electrophysiology (EP) service in Libya. It is a comprehensive training program designed to equip a cohort of Libyan cardiologists with specialized expertise in cardiac electrophysiology. The program commences with a series of online lectures covering fundamental and advanced concepts in EP, followed by practical workshops conducted in Libya and hands-on procedural training. To ensure proficiency, the curriculum includes competency assessments and evaluation examinations, enabling graduates to practice independently with confidence. The lecture series is offered free of charge to all physicians interested in cardiac electrophysiology, as well as to emergency physicians and specialists from other disciplines. It encompasses essential topics such as electrocardiography (ECG), pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and the management of various arrhythmias, ensuring accessibility to a broad medical audience.
